Ms. Horwitz has spent much of her career providing guidance to companies in transition through growth stage to IPO/Sale. She has completed transactions as large as $24B. She helps her clients at a strategic financial level, assisting them in securing financing, positioning for future transactions and aiding in international expansion. Ms. Horwitz has worked with companies in the gaming, telecom, mobile, enterprise software, social media, consumer packaged goods, real estate, hospitality, professional services and entertainment industries. She has served as Advisor and/or CFO to high growth companies such as Playfab, PopCap Games, Click Wine Group and Armco leading all to successful exits. She also led the CFO advisory practice at Arthur Andersen with clients such as Real Networks, VoiceStream, (now T-Mobile), Monet Mobile, Getty Images, WRQ/Attachmate and large family offices. Ms. Horwitz graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Ms. Lohkamp has held CEO, CFO, COO, and Board positions in high-growth Fortune 50, emerging and mid-market private companies, and turnarounds. She has worked with companies across diverse industries including technology, tech-related manufacturing, professional services, health care, and insurance. During her twelve-year career at Intel Corporation, Ms. Lohkamp played a key role in the acquisition of 16 companies comprising 4,000+ people across 13 countries. Other executive positions include: Managing Partner / Chief Financial & Operating Officer at NBBJ, a leading global architecture and design firm named one of the 10 most innovative architecture firms by Fast Company; President & COO of Isonics Vancouver, a manufacturer of reclaim and test silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry; and CEO of MicroGREEN Polymers, clean-tech manufacturer of the award-winning InCycle® coffee cup. She currently serves on the board of Woods Bagot Holdings, a global architecture and design firm headquartered in Australia and previously served as director of Delta Dental of Washington, a $1.3B dental benefits company, and The Kleinfelder Group, a global engineering consulting firm. Ms. Lohkamp earned her MBA at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a BA at Stanford University. Mr. Sumner has led in executive roles as the CEO, CFO and COO for mid-market public and private companies, family offices and as the financial director for a federal banking insurance fund. His experience stretches across professional services, data-driven marketing, healthcare technology, logistics, real estate, maritime and software enabled services in educational technology.
In his roles Mr. Sumner has closed both buy and sell-side transactions with PE invested and family owned portfolio companies. Mr. Sumner was recently the CFO at PE owned Callison, LLC (#1 ranked in retail architecture design), which was exited via a strategic sale to a $3.5B public European company. Earlier in his career he served as CFO for the strategic sale of a PE portfolio tech-based logistics company to a NYSE buyer. In his family offices roles, he helped manage the strategic sale of the founding families’ interest in a $2B Fortune 650 NYSE company. Mr. Sumner is a CPA and holds a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the UT Austin McCombs School of Business and a BBA from the University of Georgia. Mr. Light is part of our Canadian team and brings over 25 years of expertise having both professional firm and client-side industry experience. Andrew was formerly Vice President of consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before heading up his own firm, as well as senior client-side roles with enterprises such as IBM, British Telecom, Shell, and SapientNitro. He is focused on digital technologies & media, financial services, telecoms, mobile communications, government services, technology, retail, pharmaceuticals and education sectors. Mr. Light’s clients over the years have included Shell, Aviva, Cineplex, Research in Motion, First Niagara (financial services), Canada Post, Sunrise (Switzerland), AstraZeneca, Cable & Wireless, M-Web (South Africa), National Film Board (of Canada), Pfizer, Nortel, Columbia Basin Trust (BC, Canada), Ontario Government, and Alberta Tax & Revenue Authority. Mr. Raheja is part of our Canadian team and brings over 15 years as a Finance Executive building, leading and advising organizations through complex restructuring, divestitures, and capital expansions. He has a proven track record of accelerating organizational growth through acquisitions, operationally scaling, providing investor returns and successfully exiting businesses in a private equity and strategic setting. During his tenure as Chief Financial Officer, he has scaled the veterinary acquisition model to 24 acquisitions a year from previously 1-2 a year. Most recently, in December 2018 he successfully divested the Best Friends Pet Hotel business to Mosaic Capital Partners. In 2015, he executed the sale of Novadent to the Dental Services Group (DSG), providing them with a full footprint across North America and reaffirming their position as the largest global network of dental laboratories. Through his strong financial expertise, he’s led companies through turnaround (down cycles) raising profitability by 85% despite a 3% decline in sales and deleveraged from 7x to 2.5x in 3 years.
